The storm system prompted emergency alerts from Environment Canada, including warnings of possible tornadoes.
It was a good thing Cruizin was cancelled because an intense storm rolled through the London region that brought hail, heavy rain, lightening and powerful winds. The storm knocked out power to thousands and severely damaged many trees throughout the city (including one at the webmaster’s home – see the image).
Hopefully next week will see much better weather and we hope to host the Desoto Car Club with over 120 participants expected.
